Bronzers, blushes,highlighters oh my!

Hello again lovely’s,

I was asked to recommend my favorite bronzer and blush, so I decided to take to my blog and break it down. I wanted to share with you guys my favorite bronzer both department and the ever affordable drugstore bronzer. I will also share my favorite blush. I wanted to share a neat little find I came across that has saved me a few bucks! So lets get started, I am sure you may have heard of NARS well if you haven’t its another department brand you can find their products in Sephora or online I will provide the link for Sephora as well as other site where you can find the products I will be mentioning. So NARS carries a very popular bronzer called Laguna this is a very nice  sheer light brown bronzer it works very well for contouring, I would love to pair this with their blush called orgasm very interesting name I know! It is a very beautiful combo. NARS is actually I believe for a limited time selling a combo of both for I believe 39 dollars now you can really beat that it is usually 27 just for the blush so if you think about as an investment you will surely be pleased with the product! So the blush like I mentioned is called Orgasm and it is this GORGEOUS pinky-peach blush and subtly highlights with accents of golden shimmer this color really compliments any skin tone. I love this product and I love the Laguna and orgasm combo and I was thrilled to see that they actually combined these two as a duo. Well here is the best part of all this I found this product by e.l.f (eyes, lips, face) at target that is a very similar combination for NARS and its well lets just say waaaaaay cheaper. If you haven’t heard of e.l.f then you are in for a nice treat, e.l.f carried wonderful products that are so good and very pigmented and the best part super cheap their regular line is 1.00 for everything I am not kidding! Awesome stuff! And for their studio line is 3.00! Talk about a good saving right?!? Well if you don’t have the buck to go get NARS, elf has a very good duo that gives you the opportunity to look like it is a  very expressive look and who does not like to save a buck here and there?!? If you want to splurge on the NARS your in for a treat because their product is WONDERFUL, if you want to try it out before making a big spend then I would suggest e.l.f and like I mentioned they carry their line in the cosmetic isle of Target! Now I couldn’t write a post with out mentioning my ever so faithful MAC I love their bronzer I especially love using their redefined gold pressed powder. I love this product I will use it as my bronzer or also as my blush on days I want to look golden. I love all MAC anything I think you kind know that by now. Well I love their blushes I use Dolly mix or Nuance daily I am not sure if MAC is still caring their Nuance blush but I love it! It’s a perfect coral pinkish color! Now back to ELF I have two blushes I really like from their line one is called pink passion and candid coral both shades I would say work well all year around not just summer time, I mean who doesn’t want to glow in the winter time? I know I love the Dewey look year around! So for application I want to share with you the “rule” I love to use for application I call it 3 C’s. little C medium C big C:

Little C- area around right under eyebrow and right above the apples of your cheek I use for my Highlighter. Medium C- a little above brow and right on you cheek bones I apply my blush. Big C- above the blush and below my cheek bones I apply my bronzer for some contouring, now I don’t ALWAYS use bronzer but when I do that is what I like to do.

Color of the week

Hello Beauties,

So I decide that weekly no matter what I wanted to share with you guys my polish of the week now don’t hold me to it but I will try to stay on this and make sure to do my nails and post pictures each week not an easy task with a little one but I will try. I thought it would be fun to show you guys the color I chose for the week, I work in a office environment and you know there is usually a dress code of some what business. Luckily my job is business casual so I still have to dress up but they are lenient. Now since I have to make sure to always look presentable and tidy with my clothing and cant be too over the top, I like to spice it up with my nails. So this week I chose a minty color I feel as though it screams SPRING! And I love iiiit! The color was Revlon  last years spring color in Minted  I love this color it seems like vibrant colors are in right now so have fun with the color and ENJOY! Spring time calls for a lot of floral and bright colors so you might want to keep with the trend and go for bright nails! So I hope you enjoyed this little bit until the next the next one!

My cant live with out make up face product (review and my many uses for it)

So after doing my make up now for almost 8 years I was thinking to my self what is ONE product I always use and cant live with out. My ONE product I have always used my go to, my must have?  I figured out it is my MAC fix+ spray. I came to this conclusion when I was out of it one time and realized my face looked as though something was missing. Well recently it came up as a topic with my co workers it was actually my inspiration to write today. Because two ladies actually brought it up and I had a light bulb light up. I know it has been sometime since I have taken to my blog and created a post and well I think this is a perfect topic! What can I say about my MAC fix + spray?!? I love love love iiiiit! It is absolutely A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Can you tell how in love I am?  So my love affair with this product began back when I was still in high school I used it all the time and its still a staple in my everyday routine even when I don’t wear make up! So this product contains vitamins, and minerals, it has a blend of green tea, chamomile. It has this refreshing scent. I feel as though that combination blend is perfect all the things ingredients your face needs when it is thirsty! It helps to refresh your face before application and helps to set your make up once you are done applying it.  How is use it: before my make up and before my moisturizer. I will usually wash my face and apply a few sprays and let it soak up for a bout 5 minutes I then will apply my moisturizer and while I do other things like brush my teeth I let my moisturizer soak in. I will then apply my foundation and set it with my loose powder and give my face another spray. AND finally once I have a full face done I spritz it one more time! You would think for as much as I use this I run out quickly but surprisingly this product I would say last me about two months! Now that amazing for as much use I get from it! The bottle is a very good size ( 100ML/3.4 US Fl oz) I also use this spray on my eye shadow brush when applying a shadow I want to be more vibrant and helps it to stay longer and less creasing and helps he fall out ( under your eyes) I love this product! I love the dewy look I love to look as though my face is glowing. I hate a matte look or a cakey look. I just LOVE how this product leaves my face looking EXTRA refreshed. I pair this product with my MAC prolong wear foundation or my MAC studio Sculpt. MAC has always been my make up brand of choice when it comes to my face, people tell me all the time that it is heavy and it makes them break out since it its thick and it’s meant to be stage make up but I LOVE it and have never had an issue with any of their products. Going back to my review I feel this product is a product every woman should at least try once. I carry mine with me in my purse. I give my face a spritz when I need a little pick me up late in my day and it brings my face from-50 back to 100! Great for on the go. So in closing is this a product I would recommend? Why yes, yes it is J  you can pick this product up at any MAC counter or online and I believe it retails for 19.00! So my beauties I really hope you enjoyed my post and I am back to my notebook of ideas for more post! What is the product you absolutely can’t live with out?
Have a beautiful day!

PS: I have found this website I am referencing

where it explains how the uses of the ingredients in this product actually work.. There are also different spray you can use I believe. I have seen Lavender, rose and I believe Tonic but I know the Tonic water you ca only get at the pro store and the others maybe just a seasonal product (don’t quote me) But it I figured id share the different types.

Tid Bit for the day (Review)

Hello Gorgeous,

Its been a little while since I have taken to my blog (new baby will do that to you) so staying in theme of a new baby for me or what ever your life brings you weather it is a baby or just Late nights, I went to my local Drugstore and picked up two new items in hopes of finding something to help hide/reduce my dark under eye circles. Well I came across Garniers ad in one of my magazines a while back and decide after looking in the mirror I needed to do something about my circles. So I took my butt to the drugstore and looked over a few products I decided on the Garnier products. I bought the Anti puff roller which claims to help with the dark under eye circles and any sort of puffy- ness. Well I feel as though it truly did help and I liked it so much I decided to use the tinted anti- dark circle roller as well. I love them both I use the tinted roller when I am in rush and don’t feel like wearing much make up at all, I would use this tinted one and apply a tinted moisturizer and VUALA I am ready to step out (and not scare father, mother, or child) I did really notice the difference almost immediately and I noticed how it really decreases the puffiness look. It has caffeine in it which is what they claim is the key for the de puff result. If caffeine can get me going in the morning then this works for my face.  i really like the product I have found it useful and benicial for me. Now I don’t have sentive skin so I am able to use this product so don’t go using this product and expect same results. As results veri from person to person. Again I will stress this is entirely my opinion and I am not advertizing for them.  So since it worked for me I thought I might throw it out there and express my like with this product.  So simply roll on the product and using your ring finger dab in the product and you will notice the difference. When you are working with the eyes always remember to use the ring finger around that thin skin since your ring finger is the lightest make sure to use that one, also dab don’t rub or pull at the skin. I use this same process on both product the original and the tinted.  I have attached the link for both products so you can read up on it and see for your self.

of course these products are never a  permanit fix so make sure you stay hydrated and get your bodies required amount of sleep.

Hope you enjoyed my Tid bit

Until next post dolls!

Make up Discussion: My everyday favorite make up products

Hey dolls!
As i was getting ready i decided i wanted to write an entry and share my favorite products that i use in my daily make up routine so here it is i am going to simply post what products i use and on another post i will show you how i do my everyday make up using the products in the picture above! So look out for that entry soon :)  when i find a look that works for me i tend to go with it... i also enjoy trying different looks depending on the occasion as well as my mood. So lets get started:

  • M.A.C. Studio sculpt in NC40 and NC42 i am in between colors so i use a drop off both pigments.
  • M.A.C. 187 fiber brush- I LOVE this brush to apply my foundation gives me the best flawless look i always desire.
  • Physicians Formula  Yellow stick to help me with the dark under eye circles
  • M.A.C. studio finish concealer in  NW25 Tip: you always want to go 2 shades lighter on your concealer to hide under eye circles and if you use mac you want it to be NW as opposed to NC you want warm.
  • Neutrogena 3- in 1 concealer for eyes in Medium 15 i have major dark circles since having my daughter and those long nights i cant seem to catch up so i have to double in my concealer.
  • e.l.f contouring blush and bronzing powder- i absolutely LOVE this product very inexpressive and it reminds me of NARS Laguna and Orgasm but WAY cheaper!!! super convenient 2-1
  • Physicians formula Shimmer strips- in Waikiki strip i love to use these as shadows and you can use it as a highlight as well multiple uses for a product is always a plus for on the go
  • M.A.C iridescent Powder- in Golden bronze i love to use this on my cheeks as a highlight. night and day
  • L'oreal Voluminous mascara- in Black is my all time favorite mascara i will chose this over any mascara any day!
  • NYX white liner- i love to apply this on my water line to help dilute my black eyeliner a little and add that extra wide eye look
  • Milani Brow Fix- in medium i love this compact it is the best iv found so far and its priced very affordable.
  • my favorite lip look i use daily is my M.A.C. Viva glam gaga Revlon color burst in Soft nude and my M.A.C. lip liner in  subculture
  • Urban Decay All nighter finishing spray- i like this a little more than MAC fix spray but i alternate.
So there it is beauty's a few of my favorite items i MUST have in stock, now i do use these daily but i also use other products i will include in my daily make up routine post.  i like that a lot of these are affordable and easy to come across i believe i bought most of these at CVS but i am sure your closest drugstore would have these as well. I know elf may be a little hard to come across but you can always go on their website(click on link to view)http://www.eyeslipsface.com/ to view their products if you guys have any questions please feel free to ask me in the comments.

I really hope you enjoyed this post i think it is always fun to see what products other people use because you never know what you are in the market for :)
